On May 4, the Hedera ecosystem gathered at the Faena Forum in Miami Beach for HederaCon 2026 — a full day of conversations across enterprise adoption, tokenization, AI, stablecoins, interoperability, regulation, and the future of digital trust.

Coming between the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix and Consensus 2026, the event felt like a clear signal: Hedera is no longer talking about what distributed ledger technology could become. It is showing what is already moving into production.

McLaren Racing recently joined the Hedera Council, deepening its partnership with Hedera and bringing one of the most iconic names in motorsport into Hedera governance. McLaren’s first major use case is a digital collectibles programme designed to bring Formula 1 and IndyCar fans closer to the team, with free-to-mint collectibles released around race weekends.

Accenture also joined the Hedera Council, with a focus on trusted infrastructure for enterprise AI. As a Council member, Accenture will help govern the Hedera public network, operate a consensus node, and support solutions for financial services, government agencies, and large enterprises.

Adding to the excitement around the week, McLaren Racing also secured an impressive double podium finish at the Miami Grand Prix, taking 2nd and 3rd place during the same weekend HederaCon brought the ecosystem together in Miami.

One of the most important announcements from HederaCon came from Hashgraph: CLPR, the Cross-Ledger Protocol Relay.

CLPR is designed as a bridgeless cross-ledger protocol that allows value and data to move between networks according to cryptographically enforced rules, without taking custody of the assets being transferred. In simple terms, it aims to make different ledgers work together without relying on traditional bridges or intermediaries.

For wallets like HashPack, this kind of infrastructure will be foundational. A more connected ecosystem means better user experiences, deeper liquidity, and more practical paths for real-world adoption.

For the HashPack team, HederaCon was about much more than panels and announcements. It was a chance to meet people face to face.

Across Miami, the Hedera community showed up at side events, meetups, dinners, and informal gatherings. From the community-organised HashBash to the HashPack Dinner, and countless conversations throughout the week, HederaCon became more than a one-day conference.

It became a gathering point for the people building, supporting, and believing in the ecosystem.

HederaCon Miami 2026 felt like a milestone.

The ecosystem is growing up. Enterprise adoption is becoming more tangible. Council momentum is accelerating. New infrastructure like CLPR is expanding what is possible. And the community continues to bring the energy, creativity, and conviction that have always made Hedera different.
